Furniture Industry Conference

On May 27, 2026, during the Furnitech Expo, the furniture industry will once again gather for the "The Charm of Furniture Lies in the Detail" conference. This unique space for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and inspiration, designed for all market participants – from designers and manufacturers to component and technology suppliers. 

 The conference, organized by Wydawnictwo Inwestor in collaboration with Ptak Warsaw Expo, focuses on what is most important in furniture, though often invisible at first glance – the detail. It is the detail that determines the quality, functionality, and final perception of a product, while simultaneously providing a platform for innovation, new technologies, and a fresh approach to design. 

 The second edition of the "The Charm of Furniture Lies in the Detail" conference is not only an overview of current trends but, above all, an attempt to answer questions about the future of the industry. The program will feature presentations by experts representing various market areas – from sustainable materials and modern design, through the development of components and accessories, to digitization and building competitive advantages. 

The event will be a key highlight of the Furnitech Expo trade fair – a dynamically developing meeting platform for the furniture industry, integrating the worlds of technology, design, and business. Conference participants will not only gain access to substantive lectures but also the opportunity to establish valuable contacts and exchange experiences with market practitioners.

As part of FURNITECH EXPO 2026 and FURNITURE CONTRACT EXPO 2026 (May 26–28, 2026, Nadarzyn near Warsaw, Ptak Warsaw Expo), specialized conference panels will be held under the patronage of KD Media / Kurier Drzewny. The event will bring together industry experts who will provide practical insights into the key regulatory challenges facing the wood and furniture sectors, with a particular focus on new European Union requirements. 

 The conference program focuses on current and upcoming regulations such as EUDR, DPP, and PPWR, as well as practical tools and solutions enabling their effective implementation within companies.

As part of FURNITECH EXPO 2026 and FURNITURE CONTRACT EXPO 2026, a discussion panel held under the patronage of the Polish Ergonomics Society will take place, dedicated to innovation in the furniture industry as a source of competitive advantage. Experts will discuss practical aspects of innovation protection, the design of modern solutions, and the importance of the DfD approach in the context of sustainable development and market requirements.

The discussion panel focuses on the practical aspects of building an innovative advantage in the furniture industry, from intellectual property protection and the choice between patenting and know how, through the design of furniture intended for disassembly, to combining innovation with market requirements, user expectations, and the future development directions of the sector.

During the trade show, a Podcast Zone will be available to all exhibitors, where you can participate in a short industry interview at no cost. 

Recordings made at the trade show will be published on the Ptak Warsaw Expo YouTube channel, providing an additional way to promote your brand, your offerings, and your presence at the event.
